About us

Tanzgemeinschaft as a magazine was brought into life at the beginning of 2014. In the decade before we operated in other formats in Belgium: Four In Trance, Beat 4 Beat. The main focus then was to promote young local and international talents via underground events in sometimes abandoned or industrial places. Today we continue and support young talents by giving them an online platform and promoting their music.

We are dedicated to good underground electronic music: house, progressive, techno, deep house, minimal. We do not look for just any music or anyone, we are looking for music and people who create memorable music that inspires and invokes emotion, rather than be disposable chart-topping hits and mixes. It matters little whether you are an artist or a visitor, the love for music is the unifying factor here.

At this very moment, we continue working hard on the platform and bring you the latest news about releases, events, mixtapes, interviews and more. We aim to be your valuable guide in the ever-growing subculture of electronic music.

As of November 2018 we started a new record label under the same name, Tanzgemeinschaft. We are aiming for the best talents out there, giving them an extra platform to showcase their work.
