This premiere, Flower the Black in the Marcus Sur remix, really is a nice thrill. Deeper minimal sounds with melodic edges. This remix from Marcus Sur is something to get you somewhere between space and time.

Hibrid’s original is a stunning tech house bender with strong guitar melodies, lush vocals samples and a haunting bassline. This remix is none of that as Marcus Sur puts it on steroids with an even more rolling bassline and bent guitar samples.

Flower the Black

After releasing his debut album Izgubljeni (Lost) on Submarine Vibes, Hibrid is about to release the first Remix EP of one of the tracks on the album, “Cvijet Crni” (Flower The Black). No less than 4 stunning takes by a great selection of artists: Marcus Sur, Martin Roth, Franz Alice Stern and Atonic.

Flower the Black (original mix) features some of Hibrid’s friends and fellow musicians like there are Adnan Salihovic on guitar and Belma Zvizdic on vocals.

The first remix comes from Martin Roth, a well-known producer and DJ from Germany. He was first brought into the spotlight of global underground dance music when, alongside Eric Prydz and Deadmau5, he was named a Beatport Star of 2009 as a result of topping their sales chart no less than 5 times that year, achieving an incredible 16 Top 10 positions and receiving 3 nominations at the Beatport Annual Awards for his productions and remixes.

One of the other remixes is our fantastic premiere, by the hands of Marcus Sur. Franz Alice Stern known for releases on Traum, Katermukke, Click and many more takes credits for a deep & dark twist. The last remix is done by DJ and producer, Atonic, also known as Ajnspric, who brings his “old-school” vibe in his interpretation of the original.
