Premiere: James Benedict – Angel Avenue (Roman Mühlschlegel’s Trippy Revision)

Hailing from Glasgow based DJ and Producer James Benedict is rolling. With a few releases up his sleeve in a short period of time, he is on fire. At the end of 2015, James Benedict was selected as one of the top 100 Deep House artists on Traxsource, showing that his hard work and passion for music production is starting to pay off. And it does!!

Soon he’ll be dropping a damn fine gem on Barcelona-based imprint sinnmusik*. The label known for high-quality house tracks already has James Benedikt on the roster for delivering sublime remixes for other artists they have signed. But now it’s time for James Benedict to get in the label’s spotlight with his damn fine upcoming release. We had a sneak preview and we are more than delighted.

We get the privilege to premiere one of the tracks. We picked Roman Mühlschlegel‘s trippy revision. Roman surely created a damn nice edit of an already fantastic original. It’s a bomb!

So moves those chairs and make some space to get crazy on this one. The release is due September 19. So stay tuned and grab that copy once it’s out!

James Benedict’s Angel Avenue is one high-rolling groove!

Angel Avenue, contains 2 originals and 3 stunning remixes. It’s a fantastic sound James created on this release. The title track is all about groove percussion with a great rhythm. House as it should be with but with a little deeper edge. Georgi Barrel‘s Dub has a little 2-step topping. Amazing vibe on this edit. Love the phat bass on the break.

The second original is called “One night stay” feels slightly different than the first. With a super deep bassline and warm vocal samples, James Benedict created something to get some dance floors crowded and sweaty. The duo Fewture & Freddie Glitch shake things up a bit and add an even deeper more pounding bassline. A murky house slinger packed with the same vocal samples and a groovy percussion roll. Slick remix.
