Here is a release that deserves some extra attention. Coming from the versatile combo Valentina Black and Nihil Young who form 7th Star. Both hailing from Italy, slowly conquering the world. With releases on Toolroom Records (UK), Gem Records (Netherlands), Frequenza, Moveubabe Records, KMS Records, Tulipa Recordings, King Street Sounds things do not look bad at all for 7th Star.
Their next EP is called “Atlantis” and will be released on Bimini Records. 3 great melodic tracks that are ready to take over the dance floor.
Title track “atlantis” is a smooth groover with eased down vocals on top. Play it loud and you get an entire floor moving in an instant. “Space Caravan” sounds a bit deeper with nice sharp woods ticking in and a nice rolling beat to create a fantastic atmosphere. Last but not least is the club banger “Adhama”. Grabs you by the throat with it’s intense rhythm & repetitive vocal sample. Once it grabs you, it does not let go until the needle hits the small pin in the middle.
