How are things these days?

Right now everything is not right, because of the corona virus, it is leaving many dead and infected, we are experiencing a disaster in the world, but we must be strong and recover.

For fans who don’t know much about you, could you tell us a bit about your music background

I am a music lover in general, I love listening to everything, you always learn from any genre of music, but what has marked me as a young man has been the great successes of the 80s and 90s.

How did you fall down the music rabbit hole?
I started very young in this profession if I remember correctly in 2000, when before music was played with vinyl, the industry and music was different.

How did you cross the aisle from being a dancer to DJing? How would you describe your sound and style?

It all started when I related to friends and colleagues who worked as a DJ, they helped me and taught me to get started in the world of music.

My music and my sound is different from that of many producers, at the end I look for a sound reference and then make my own, the sound I have is the Tech House but I am also open to doing other styles.

What kind of music did you listen to growing up, and does it have any influence on your current sound? If not, what or who are your inspirations?

I loved listening to disco, house music with techno influences. There is always an influence on the sound you make is your identification mark as an artist. The beauty of this industry is to take the best of each artist and be yourself.

What’s your creative process when writing music? Do you have an idea in mind or do you somehow experiment and see what’s coming?

When I lock myself in my studio, I try to have defined what I want to work. I always try to have fresh ideas in my mind, visualize what I want to do and put it into practice. But not every day you have that success.

Tell us something about True Story Comic. What do you mean by “focussing on the most select and different music style with an exclusive concept”?

True Story Comic, personally it is more than a label, I try to work differently from the rest of labels, the style that I like is the one that I want to make available to everyone, that’s why being unique and exclusive.

Each cover of a release is a comic story. You seem to put a lot of time and effort into it? How did this all come together? How did this idea come into existence?

They are funny stories created by my crazy head, what I try to convey when they see each cover is happiness that people with a cover can laugh enjoy. I dedicate a lot of work to it and it is a great sacrifice in my life but it makes me happy and that is what matters. From a young age, I have always liked to draw comic stories and characters, from there came the idea.

Check them out on Instagram or Beatport.

What releases have you planned for this year that you can tell us about? Like when and on which label (also on True Story Comic)?
I have planned this whole 2020 with releases with great sound and very funny covers.

What do you do to push the energy?

The energy runs through my veins, I try to distribute it to do the best in my life.

What are your fondest musical memories? In your house? In your neighborhood or town?

I have a lot of musical memories (home, School, neighborhood or town) , at the end the music are memories that bring happiness, without music I could not live.

Thank you.
