A few days a go his podcats for Steyoyoke Black was posted on Soundcloud. A sublime mix of deep, dark and ethereal techno.

We found out he had a released earlier last week on the same label. A 3 track EP called “Aria”. What can we say. We were overwhelmed by the deep and bombastic sound. Amazing feeling it creates. The label desribes the opening track as a masterpiece. Who are we do disagree. So much intenese energy combined with vocals from an opera singer (Emiliyan Stankov). A work of art it is! Can’t wait to hear this one in a dark club.
“Opus 52” hit you like a maul. Pounding bass combined with a layer of very nice rolling drums and slowly building to a hypnotizing level. The slick haunting vocal cuts create a demonic atmosphere. The track slows down with an electro style synth riff, but mercilessly kicks back. We can definitely feel the groove. Floor filler for sure.
Third original on the Ep is called “Tessitura”. Complete different approach. Wobbly in the beginning when heavy and dark bass takes over, pulling you in. Immersive & conjuring!
