Biography
German DJ & producer Le Roy was born as Leroy Atienza-Fernandez back in April 1995 in Velbert (Germany). At the age of 16, he began to produce electronic music and through that process, he discovered the art of DJing. Like many of us Le Roy started playing at local house parties & birthday parties.
In 2016 he entered the DJ Contest of the Sub in Düsseldorf, competing against 100 contestants. He won and became part of the Resident-DJ-Team which gave him the opportunity to play the venue several times per week up until today.
A purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere
Le Roy keeps developing his skills and continues to produce music and releases several unofficial remixes: Jacky Greco – Silhouettes (Le Roy Remix), PANG! – One Big Laugh (Le Roy Remix), EDX – We Can’t Give Up (Le Roy Remix). In 2018 he got his first track signed (From Within – original mix) on the sineUP imprint which was a memorable moment of course.
In 2019 he debuts on Tanzgemeinschaft with his summer groove “Malawi”.
Le Roy finds his dedication in deep house and melodic tech house and uses many elements in his own tracks and sets. His live performances are characterized by driving beats, melodic synth lines and a unique atmosphere. His strength is reading the audience and adapts whenever the need is there.
