Let There Be House is shaking up the shizzle with some bold signings from new talent. With DJ Rae now steering the ship, the label’s been on a brilliant roll serving up club hits from house titans like Peverell & Kuuda, Yousef, Sandy Rivera, DJ Spen, Junior Sanchez, and Rae herself. Now, they’re expanding the blueprint with ‘Let There Be House Presents’ a brand-new various artists EP series aimed at spotlighting emerging talent that’s destined to shake dance floors and introduce some fresh flavours into the scene.
The first edition sets the tone perfectly: four fresh cuts, all different, all danceable, and all firmly rooted in the label’s genre-spanning house DNA. First up is Enzo Tinoco’s “In The Name Of Love”, which is a funky, upbeat French Touch-tinged roller that oozes class and groove. Yan Vargus follows with “Back To The Roots,” a smokin jackin’ house cut that pays homage to the genre’s pioneers such as think Kerri Chandler, Frankie Knuckles, Terrence Parker, but keeps things crisp and forward-facing with the production. Singer / Songwriter TANYA TANYA slides in next with “You Give Me Love,” a superb soulful vocal-driven number tailor-made for the chic party sets. Then there’s Seor with his brilliant leftfield twist, “Straight Drums” which hits with live bass, electro textures, and an infectious hook that doesn’t let go. With this first volume, ‘Let There Be House Presents’ proves it’s not just another VA drop – it’s a proper statement with quality House Music, primed to propel the label forward.
