Re:Sound Music surely is one of our favorite record labels at the moment. There are others of course. Many others we like ove rhere at Tanzgemeinschaft. But the way Re:Sound picks their artists, nurtures and support them, is pretty awesome. Label boss, Michael Hooker really does know how to run and manage his label. He keeps his levels high and makes sure the music that’s been released is of high standard and quality. Following Michael, we see he works hard and plays hard.
The imprint latest release comes from Sweden-based Pallida. We are used to a more deeper sound from releases on Re:Sound. For us Pallida’s ‘Floaters’ EP feels like a fresh wind is entering. The original track is a bit more tech-house oriented infused with some psychedelic hints. M.E.E.O’s remix is a refreshing and uplifting take on the original. Both tracks are very much dancefloor oriented with highs and lows. In a stomping set, these will raise heads and arms!
