This weeks podcast comes from 2 Italians, Mattia Prete and Simone Scardino, who call themselves “Beat Movement”. These guys contacted us to make us aware of their freshly released podcast for the great label Dorfjungs. If you mention Dorfjungs, we are all ears.

Maybe something more about the boys from the south of Italy. Since young the are exploring the boundaries of their entousiasm and passion for electronic music. Especially in the art of playing records as a dj. Their style was born from an amalgam of deep & dark styles and techno. Their “Back to back” performances did not go by unnoticed. They gained trust and popularity and got them a lot of positive reactions that opened some doors. A path to succes so it seems as they entered the best Salentine Clubs which are the epicenter of the Italian night life. In 2010 Mattia and Simone created the Beat Movement concept: spread their idea of music, based on a single identity with all types of artistic combinations.

Within two years they succeeded in performing in Paris and got accepted in the music international scene. A lot of this by collaboration with team members as there are Guido Nemola (Recycle), Onur Ozer (Cocoon), Untold Concept (Crs Rec), Renè (Circoloco Ibiza) and many others.
