Where are you from and what do you find inspirational about where you’re living?
I am from Istanbul, Turkey and I have a weird love for my hometown. Istanbul is really loud city, the sound and chaos never stops here. I deny the sounds which I don’t like and hear only the ones that makes me feel good. I sometimes record the soundscape of the city and then use them while producing. As a nature-lover, it might be hard to listen to your inner voice here, so I love to work on my music in the night-time while the city is sleeping but in general, this city offers pretty much everything.

Where does your passion for electronic music come from?
I have grown up with different tastes of music like jazz, hip-hop, ambient. I tried to understand their structure and how each song makes me feel. I focused on sound elements in the songs and as a result I have found out that in electronic music, I can use all of these sounds as subconscious elements. True harmony of these sounds is kind of an art for me.

How has your music been influenced by other artists, musicians, or life in general?
After digging deep in music, I have found out that the successful musicians are always going after their unique sound they created. This is not an easy process, it takes years. I have met and hosted some of my favorite artists and tried to learn from them. Trentemoeller, Recondite, Nicolas Jaar and David August are basically my biggest influences but there are many others I follow. Music always helped me as a healer each time I had a trouble in my life.

How do you see your future within the electronic music scene?
For me, the story is everything and I work hard on my music both on my productions and mixes to spread the story I create in each set, in order to spread my music, my feelings to other people. I don’t have a desire of being famous like many others. I love how the electronic music changes by the time and my opinion is in couple of years, if I keep working hard, I will be more successful international basis in electronic music scene. I always try to learn from experienced people and support the new ones from my past experiences. Even you work hard on finding new songs each and every day and create the harmony within these songs in the mix, for me, producing your own music is key for the success. I like producing more but I must balance both of them in order to achieve the success. I like the endless possibilities music offers.

What can we expect from the mix you made us?
I created my mix more like a journey where you start your travel from a dark place and reach to bright, dreamy place. I put experimental sounds merged with melodic techno structures in the mix. I want to touch to both hearts and minds of listeners at the same time. That is my style of mixing. I focus on feelings compared to dancing and follow the story in my mind.

Any news to share regarding upcoming work or gigs?
I work on my productions every day and there will be 2 EPs coming from good labels with their own sound in September and December. I can finally create the sounds I want so in the next upcoming months, I will achieve my goals both for releasing from the labels which I set a goal for myself and play in magical places over the world in order to extend my audience. I have dedicated most of my time on music because it’s my favorite way of expressing feelings.

Thank you.
