For our readers who don’t know much about you, could you tell us a bit about your musical background?

I have been playing classical guitar for 10 years and music has always punctuated my life, I like to feel music intensely, whether as an actress or even party people. I don’t know what is life without music.

When working on new music is the dance floor always something you keep in mind? Or does a certain vibe or flow sometimes transcend that?

Yes, of course, I’m thinking of those who will listen and imagine what it could be like at a party or a club.

Later this year you will have a track on our Various Artist compilation. Tell us all about that work.

After having proposed my lyrics to NTO, I wanted to meet a techno producer who would be interested in my work. Without hesitation, Davidee offered to collaborate on his work together with Shemsu.

Do you believe in the possibility of “reading an audience” – and how do you put it into practice? Is the relationship with the audience on the dancefloor a collaborative one or, as Derrick May once put it, a “battle”?

I think you need a connection with the audience and feel how the dance floor reaction evolves. At what point it is necessary to slow down a little to start again better. Make surprises. So, the dance floor is a partner that you have to know how to listen to. While embedding it from your own universe.

What do you find most challenging about the music business?

It is sometimes quite hard to adapt to different software and new sound design techniques.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learnt along the way?

When you’re made for something you know it, don’t hesitate and go for it. You can’t explain everything in life. There are magical things. Work does a lot but there is an element of mystery as evidence in certain things that leads you to think “I was made for this”.

Took a chance and fight for your dreams even if you’re the only person who believes it at first.

What have you got planned for the rest of the year? Any new music or collaborations we should know about?

Yes, 2023 is an important year for me, my beginnings as an Electro DJ/Producer allowed me to discover a new and exciting world. We continue the adventure with new productions, I just recorded the voices for Don’t give up our last track signed by Davidee, Shemsu with the sublime voice of ElleJae. We are also preparing a new, more playful EP with House and Deep Techno sounds.

If you could have produced any record in the world, which one would it be?

Without hesitation, the NTO tracks because I love his way of producing electro music

What are your fondest musical memories? In your house? In your neighbourhood or town?

Hahaha! the most magical thing was when I went to see Paul Kalkbrenner at the antique theatre in Orange, France… And in the car at dawn, when I discovered the track “Bolan Muppets Glissandro 60” this track blew me away and made me cry with joy.

Thank you.

Merci
