20 years ETUI records with Insect O.

Here is something nice to celebrate. German-based record label EUIT Records is celebrating its 20th anniversary. T w e n t y years!! That’s something worthful in the music industry. If you can last that long that means there must be something great behind it: 28 vinyl release, 6 compilations, several digital releases and much more to come.

Label owner Oliver Hartmann or Insect O. as he goes by his artist name, started the label back in 1998 in Dresden in the south of Germany. Grey town but they have such great music!

ETUI Records is here with a Various Artist compilation called Etui Wintercamp 4. We get to showcase the label owner’s track ‘Forest of The Monkeys’.

Insect O. takes you out for a walk. First at a slow pace, then the tempo slightly changes while e atmosphere changes. It feels like you constantly need to look over your shoulder. It’s a mystical and deep atmosphere on this techno dub.

Do mind the details and layered structure on this track. It goes deep.
