Today we received a nice message from Eren Erdol, a DJ/Procer from Istanbul, letting us know about his most recent release “Transparent Beauty”. This 2 track EP has been out since last December on his own imprint Petra Digital Recordings.

The great thing about the label is that it is established to discover and release intelligent sounds without borders. The primary aim is to release cool vibes. This all sounds great to us and must sound like music in the ears of young upcoming talents that deserve a chance to release their music. We will see what will be in their catalog in the future.

Eren Erdol is part of the Petra Digital Kollectiv and has been playing around the world. Learning a lot to get to the sound he is creating at this very moment.

We’ve listened several times over and over again and came to one conclusion. “Transparent Beauty” is one hell of a killer drop. The EP contains one original and gets remixed in a magisterial way by Teenage Mutants. A remix that counts. Seems like all tracks the German producers lays his hands on turn into a mojo groove.

The original track is a deep, rich house groove with nice warm bass, cute stabs and breathy, reverb heavy vocals. Halfway through a phat bassline drops in and things get groovy. Love this tune with its haunting rhythm.

Teenage Mutants’ remix is more energetic and uptempo, peak time and metallic, with urgent, machine gun like synth stabs and yelping vocals bringing a real party vibe. This remix definitely is one hell of a remix and will turn a dance floor into a crowded and sweaty place. Dance floor domination it will be.
