Where are you from and what do you find inspirational about where you’re living?
I was born in Rome but live between Venice and Berlin. Venice is a city where I relax and produce, Berlin basically where I play, work but also where I have fun, I always try to balance these two aspects of my life.

What excites you the most as a DJ?
I’ve been playing around Europe and beyond for 25 years and the thing I’ve always liked is to receive compliments after playing, to have people who come to congratulate you sincerely and with a smile because they had fun, this is priceless. I am happy to travel for 8 hours if I can have these satisfactions.

With this virus outbreak putting a halt on the world as we know it. How will the future of DJ’s look like according to you?
All of us DJs and producers have a big question mark, coupled with fear and uncertainty. Can I still pay the rent, cover my expenses? In case of an emergency, does the state help me? If so, how and when?

As always we just have to wait and sit through this shit. Creativity is our highest asset together with health, so let’s use it. Time will tell where we will be at the end of the year. For now, let’s stay safe and do not let ourselves be beaten down and let’s try to transform this situation into an opportunity. I wish each of us to find his own way to do it.

Where does your passion for electronic music come from?
I’ve always listened to music since childhood, all kinds, I have never endured silence, in my house, there is music on 24h a day. I started listening Hip Hop in the late 90s then Lounge, Electronic and Chill-House with the Cafè Del Mar series, after Techno, Deep House and now Dark Disco. I love all genres and this makes all my sets special, I change genre continuously when I play and I had often incredible reactions from people who come to tell me “I haven’t heard this piece for a lifetime”.

What can we expect from the mix you made us?
I recorded the mix live using my Pioneer Xdj-RX and my sampler AKAI MPX 16. I played 2 unreleased tracks from my friends Oniwax and Funk d’Void, expect a wide range of deep grooving melodies from Dark Disco to Afro, you will listen to really special tracks and promos I like to play in my recent sets, I hope you enjoy!

Thank you
