Hey Mario, we are you currently based?

I am currently based in London (UK).

What are a few things our readers should experience in your city?

There are many things to do in London, it is a versatile city that offers everything they want to do. That is why I am here, almost infinite possibilities!

When did you start DJing/producing – and what or who were your early passions and influences

I started DJing at the age of 12 with my cousin. During that year I can remember we bought our first turntables and a 2 channels Gemini mixer. At the age of 20, I started focusing on producing my own music. I had the idea that creating and crafting my own sound would give me a better understanding of this fascinating world around electronic music. I always had a passion for drums, and I am sure people can hear it in my productions.

What kind of music did you listen to growing up, and does it have any influence on your current sound? If not, what or who are your inspirations.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a family rich in arts, where my grandad was painting while listening to the Pink Floyd or The Doors. Both my great granddads were musicians and therefore I had always some instruments near me. The music I listen to have always some influences on my production, it reflects my perception of sounds.

Let’s talk about your creative process when writing music. Does it start with a simple idea, do you like to experiment and then see what comes out of it?

I love to experiment with new sounds every day at my studio. It is something that gives me the right power to craft a new track. I often prefer to play just my piano, to create melodies that come out of my mind.

What releases have you planned for this year that you can tell us about?

I have got many releases coming out in 2022, my latest will be with Tanzgemeinschaft on June 25, after that there will be exciting news coming, stay tuned!

Thank you!
