Mikalogic – Logophile

Portugese producer Mikalogic comes with a feel good EP called “Logophile”. Living in sunny Lisbon must have its effect on the music he produces. After a 4 year absence Mikalogic is back on the Israeli imprint Take Away recordings. Back in the days he released his debut “New Brand Feeling” on the label. Real sexy house cuts on that one, and yet again on his freshly released EP “Logophile”. Not that he’s been sitting still. He’s been releasing on various labels like Noir, Suara, OFF and all with great house music. You an hear he puts his own mark on his sound.

On “Logophile” we unfortunately only get one original but it gets generously compensated with 2 fantastic remixes. 2 deep house slices that are sexy and groovy. One by the hand of our good friends Soulfeed. Those guys are always in for some sweetness. They take on the original together with Blagov.

Their remix is one chunk of deep bad ass house ready for floor pulverization. Get those hips in positions like never before.

The second remix comes from Balearic Frink. He comes with a very distinctive approach. Cutting up the original in a DJ Le Roi style. Bumpy house sound with an edge. This track boasts a flurry of deranged sonics and deep, sweltering bumpy house rhythms. Ibiza summer season is about to start. Are you ready?

The original itself is a warm brood of rhythmic house grooves with a blend of sexy vocal samples. It’s more uptempo than the 2 remixes which create a very nice diversity on this EP.
