Noisy B – Dream Dums EP (BBN009)

NOISY B. AKA JHON AKAJONNA

Spanish Jhon akajonna or Noisy B how he calls himself has been dj’ing and producing electronic music for about 15 years. His musical adventure began in the mid 90’s in the periphery of León (Spain) playing in Equus (Ponferrada), Sala Albeniz (Gijon) and festivals like the Electro Pool Fest & EP music fest.

At present Noisy B is resident at Sala Vintage (León) and Zero (Gijon). But he’s occupying many other stages on Spanish territory. Electronic Nomad.

His style can best be described as dark techno with deep sounds, tech house and some old school Detroit swung. Influenced by artists like Josh Wink, Sven Vath, Anthony Rother and Slam.

As a side project he curates and promotes the Electro Pool Fest in León.

Dream Drums

This week, on April 10 to be precise, he will release a very nice EP on Babboon Records. It’s a 2 track record with uptempo tech-house music. The first track ‘Kiss’ is very percussive with dark vocals and a soft build up near the mid of the track. The repetitive beat works a little hypnotic and keeps you moving towards the dance floor and to leave you there for the rest of the night. Defenitely a track to use in your set.

The second track ‘La Toja’ continues were the first track left of but adds that extra layer with percussion and some synth strokes which gives it an extra swung and housy touch.

Both tracks do not have that complexity in structure but play them later in a set and you’ll have your crowd dancing for sure.
