Piero Pirupa drops a knockout two-tracker EP on Sola

Italian hero Piero Pirupa returns to Sola with a pure energy EP to reheat the dancefloors, which are gradually opening up again across the planet. Entitled “Gimme Love”, the record comes with two originals by the artist — the title track and “Future Shock”.

The first one is a great example of Pirupa’s ability to blend contemporary tech-house with the classic house music from the great old school raves of the 90s, with its uplifting melodies and shining, powerful vocals. This is an absolute banger, designed to set clubs on fire at their peak hours.

“Future Shock”, in its turn, is a little more measured, but no less danceable. Here, the pendulum swings more towards tech house itself, with a frenetic, groove-filled bassline, dynamic beats and infectious female vocals.

Released on the 25th of June, “Gimme Love” is Sola’s 146th release, and the Italian’s fourth contribution to Solardo’s main label. Pirupa’s first material was the “Wanaka EP”, in June 2018; the following year, he delivered “Wanna Try” to the compilation “Sola ADE 2019”, which came out in October; and the following month, he came with another two-track EP, “Bassface”.
