About Aitor Ronda

Aitor Ronda was born in the late 70s in Barcelona (Spain). He began playing Techno in 1996 and his first release (vinyl) was in 2001.

Aitor Ronda has reached a turning point in his career, reaching to be one of the DJs with a more solid performance which can currently be seen in the live techno music scene, with an accurate technique acquired along his important residencies for such clubs as The Loft or F135. He also had performed at massive festivals and different venues as Fabrik Madrid, Space Ibiza, Spook, Privilege, Monegros Festival, Sónar, Metro Dance Club, Egg London to name just a few. Thanks to his extensive experience, Aitor has developed incredible DJ techniques and a special connection with the crowd which makes him one of the most spectacular DJʼs to keep in the spotlight.

As a producer, Aitor Rondaʼs sound has evolved and perfected through long years of confinement in his studio, and almost 300 releases. His productions started to earn the trust of labels increasingly important in the techno scene, such as Toolroom, Form, Riot, Stereo, Natura Viva and many more. This escalation in the level of production, has led Aitor to draw the attention of some of the most important figures at the techno scene, such as Pig & Dan (currently, a constant presence at Beatportʼs charts) or Monika Kruse. Only in early 2018, Aitor had releases in Elevate (the own label of Pig & Dan) reaching Top1 at Techno Beatportʼs charts, Terminal M (Monika Kruseʼs), another Beatport Top, plus participate in podcast by DJ Mag UK or be included in such compilations as podcasts for BBC, Space Ibiza or Subliminal. He has also debuted at Octopus Recordings (Sian´s Label) his own 3 tracks EP and remixed KaiserDisco on the mighty Tronic (Christian Smith´s label), Beatport Top too.

All this activity centred on the production, have led him to an evolution in his level as producer and musician, heading a very techno sound, but still with a deep musical and harmonic orientation, using all his skills in the latest production techniques: all his production work is developed 100% by Aitor from composition to mastering, without any outside assistance.
