Yves Tomas announces The Interlink label with explosive new single “Collect Call (Wot)”

Arriving ahead of a full EP in December, “Collect Call” is a statement of intent for Yves Tomas as he readies his new Interlink imprint as a home for genres that have influenced him over the years. The track, a fresh take on classic house sounds, dials in via distorted bleeps, suspenseful pads, and pitched, cut-up vocals. Rimshots form a steady rhythm, building into an exuberant, feel-good dance track while the final segment tumbles into darkness, welcoming a weighty reese bass.

Inspired by a phone conversation on a night bus in Bow, Collect Call is a return to my roots and an interlinking of the early underground dance music energy I grew up on, with the music I’m playing now.
