Balearic Classic ‘Sueno Latino’ Gets A Big Make-over For 2026.

Sonic Soul Orchestra reunites with UK soulful vocalist Mishell Ivon and New York City’s Mr. V for a vibrant collaborative cover of the 1989 Ibiza classic, ‘Sueno Latino’. Their version pushes the track into the present with a deep, dub‑leaning House groove, rich piano lines and a standout sax performance, while Mishell and Mr. V bring fresh, sensual vocals that nod lovingly to the White Isle. Completing the release, Swing Ethics deliver a sax‑driven edit built to lift the party energy even higher, giving the package an extra spark for dance floors. This new collaboration also follows SSO and Mishell’s previous joint successes on ‘Stomp Your Feet’ and ‘One Love’, both of which cemented their chemistry on record and on the dance floor.

Sonic Soul Orchestra, the project of DJ and producer JP Firmin, has been gathering serious momentum since his return to the House scene in 2022 after years touring globally with major pop and rap artists. Alongside him, Mishell Ivon brings a career shaped by international touring, studio work and releases with producers Irmgard Klarmann and Felix Weber, while Mr. V continues to leave his mark on contemporary House through his work with labels such as Ultra Records, Defected, Vega Records, Strictly Rhythm and his own SOLE Channel, with signature tracks like ‘Jus Dance’, ‘Somethin’ With Jazz’ and ‘Put Your Drink Down’ defining his unmistakable sound.
