Andy De Gage’ returns to Tanzgemeinschaft with Drifting Away, a new release featuring a Progressive House remix by DJ Paul Joseph.
With every new release, Andy De Gage’ seems determined to explore new ideas without losing the musical identity that has become familiar to Tanzgemeinschaft followers. Drifting Away continues that approach, bringing together melodic elements, a driving bassline and a groove that remains central throughout the track.
The original develops at its own pace. Rather than building everything around one big drop, Andy gives each element time to establish itself. The result is a production that balances melodic character with the energy needed to keep a dance floor engaged.
Drifting Away: A Progressive House Remix by DJ Paul Joseph
DJ Paul Joseph approaches Drifting Away from another angle. His remix moves further into Progressive House territory, taking a more gradual route through the arrangement.
The emphasis shifts to a deeper groove and longer progression, making his interpretation particularly interesting for DJs who enjoy building sets over extended periods. While the original brings Andy’s melodic drive to the forefront, the remix offers a different way of working with the same musical ideas.
That contrast makes the release an interesting addition to the Tanzgemeinschaft catalogue. Both versions have their own place in a DJ set, depending on the energy and direction of the night.
For Andy De Gage’, Drifting Away is another chapter in an ongoing creative journey. He continues to experiment, refine his productions and explore what comes next.
And with DJ Paul Joseph adding his own perspective, the release offers two approaches to the same track.
