Sampling fragments of Carl Sagan’s iconic Pale Blue Dot speech on Sagan, Watkins points the music skyward. The voice is not a headline so much as a horizon—guiding the ear while the production does the storytelling. Patient arrangements unfurl like star fields: brushed percussion, hushed sub-bass, and synth tones that flicker and recede. He favours movement so subtle it feels subliminal; grooves gather gently, dissolve, and reassemble, drawing you in without ever raising their voice.
