Rasmus Faber returns to his Latin House roots with ‘Seem To Last’

Swedish producer and multi-instrumentalist Rasmus Faber returns to his dance music roots with ‘Seem To Last’, the first in a new run of releases that sees him reconnect with the Soulful and Latin house sound that made him famous in the 2000’s. Tracks like ‘Ever After’, ‘Divided / United’, and ‘Get Over Here’ gained fans and lit up dance floors worldwide, overflowing with his special blend live musicianship with Latin rhythms and great songs. On ‘Seem To Last’ Rasmus picks up that feel-good musical thread with a polished, sunlit groove built on filtered synths, fluid pianos, and garnished with an addictive vocal hook, hailing a welcome return to our dance floors with a sound sharpened by time and as fresh as it comes!

Rasmus Faber’s productions have featured on Defected and Armada and led to collaborations with Axwell, Deadmau5, and Kaskade. In recent years, Rasmus has been composing music for anime, VR platforms, and major game franchises including Macross Delta, Metal Gear Solid, and Honor of Kings. At the same time, his jazz-meets-anime project Platina Jazz became a success in Japan and beyond, with nine albums and a global cult following. Coming full circle, on his new releases for Farplane, Rasmus marks a continuation of the sound he helped pioneer, updated with the depth and craft developed over two decades of music-making, and the results are brilliant.

‘Seem To Last’ will be released on all platforms on June 20th 2025 on Farplane Records.
