TGMS Future Stars #29: Roderich

Up next in out TGMS Future Stars series is a youngster from Lima, Peru. Roderich got influenced by artists like Digitaria, Adana Twins, Nu & More. Discovering music via parties around and joining the Deep Motion community in his city, he was seeking to define his sound. Experimenting with different genres until he got to progressive house. Bot so mention the influences of great artists like Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Kamilo Sanclemente and many others.

Where are you from?
I’m from Lima, Peru. But most of my life is spent in Cajamarca and I currently live in Spain

What do you find inspirational about where you are living?
I love the relaxed atmosphere and the kind of people with whom I can meet, whether they are my acquaintances or not, they always have something different and for me, it is the most inspiring to find different ways of transmitting this sound that I use in them. I could say that people inspire me.

How did the collaboration between the two of come together and how do you manage to keep peace about your creative processes?
I like the moment in which I can be with myself to wear some headphones and go for a walk with the tracks that I find in my selection, I like to experience how each track has the ability to adapt to the moments.

How would you describe your sound and style?
I express the uniformity between the euphoria and relaxation in my sound, as between different tracks the sensation of energy and tranquillity, of peace and emotion is related. I seek to convey the emotions that these themes with exotic sounds cause in me.

What can we expect from your mix?
In most of my sets I try to use tracks with not so common melodies, something that can get people out of orbit and transport them from the dance floor
