James Morreel a.k.a DjMorreel is someone who’s charismatic & very passionate about electronic music. He is versatile when it comes to creating unique sets & unforgettable track selections, with a wide range of genres. He began his musical journey, stepping in the realm of Trance, House, Electro. Then versatility set him on a path towards Techno, Tech House, Progressive House, Deep House & Minimal sounds. Since then he has zoned in on his craft & dedication to the beats. He realizes it’s a gift & doesn’t want to waste it. He has a full understanding that it’s all about the music & the people that enjoy & move to it! That’s why he does it in the first place. In 2013, he started producing his own work. To, him this is where the rubber meets the road. His desire to push the sound further has become more than a dream, it’s a vision. He just wants to spread his LOVE! for Music.

Where are from and what do you find inspirational about where you’re living?
I’m currently living in Winnipeg, MB Canada! The culture of the great north inspires me because the people keep on pushing through, whatever comes their way.

Why did you want to become a DJ/Producer?
Because ever since I can remember when getting introduced to electronic music, I instantly fell in love with it!
From there on, a “Passion” grew into a vision to push the sound further. And I have a full understanding that it’s all about the music & the people that dance to it.

Where does your passion for electronic music come from?
I believe it’s a gift from God! To bring a community of people together, to embrace the sounds that were created!
& build healthy relationships!!

How has your music been influenced by other, artist, musicians, or life in general?
I believe it has been influenced by, all three! I’ve been a devoted fan of many artists! And life in general. I’m very grateful, just to be alive and to be blessed to have the opportunity to, pursue my passion!

How do you see your future within the electronic music scene?
It’s a vision that has been planted in me since the first breath a took. It just took journeying through, trials & tribulations, to get to where I am now. I’ll let my future, ride out in Gods hands.

What can we expect from the mix you made us?
A story journeying, through my heart!!!
