Yazmina Pays Tribute To Legendary Ibiza Club With New Circus Release, ‘Amnesia’ EP

Moroccan-English producer and DJ Yazmina steps onto Yousef’s Circus Recordings with her first release for the label, the ‘Amnesia’ EP – a smoking two-tracker that leans fully into her underground pallet. The title cut, ‘Amnesia’, gives a nod to the Ibiza club as Yazmina locks into a deep, jacking pulse, while Lucky Samurai layers spoken-word fragments that drift through bass pressure, sharp chord stabs and spacious, tension-building drops. Its counterpart, ‘Flangé Bongo’, is a straight-up club tool built around a chopped and flanged percussive hook and a playful “feel the bongo” vocal, all driven by a rolling low-end built for peak-time rotation.

Based in East London, Yazmina produces, DJs and hosts on Select Radio. After pushing deeper into production in 2022 via Point Blank, she’s carved out a sound sitting between deep house, house and tech house and is already drawing support from Jamie Jones, Amine Edge & Dance, Peggy Gou, Arielle Free, Hilit Kolet, and Juliet Mendoza. Her hot releases on Hottrax, Nervous, Glasgow Underground, Under No Illusion and now Circus Recordings mark her trajectory, with plenty more lined up through 2026.
