Animalize (UK) and Caralus join forces for the first time on “Kinetic,” landing on Tanzgemeinschaft on August 28.

Manchester-based Animalize (UK) brings a background steeped in progressive house and analogue textures, with Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre as early reference points and Eric Prydz and Paul Kalkbrenner as more recent ones. She’s built a reputation across UK clubs and festivals — South Nightclub and CUBO Fallowfield in Manchester among them — and runs her own SPACEWALK podcast alongside sets for local imprints MELOTECH and MELODÏQ.

That progressive-house sensibility shows on “Kinetic”: the rhythm section carries the track, tight and propulsive, while elements unfold gradually rather than announce themselves. Sub-bass anchoring the groove, top end kept lean and purposeful.
