Luca Guerrieri teams up with Rona Ray on Ain’t Nobody’

Marking 30 years in the booth, DJ and producer, Luca Guerrieri, a well respected figure in Italy’s club circuit, has played everywhere from Privilege and Sankeys in Ibiza to Cielo (Dubai) and Carrusel Club (Sofia). The latest release from the Double Vision Studios boss and Claps Records co-founder is ‘Ain’t Nobody’, a collaborative cut with gifted vocalist Rona Ray, taken from his upcoming ‘Digital Funk’ album later in the year. ‘Ain’t Nobody’, is built on a tough, unpolished disco chassis with a funkilicious bassline, groovy percussive beats, and a mighty vocal from Ray that threads raw soul into the groove. It’s disco, but stripped of nostalgia, aimed squarely at today’s dance floors that enjoy a bit of heat without the glitter. The Club Mix however, leans into a darker, more minimal zone, pulling back the layers to reveal a pulsing tribal undercurrent, atmospheric breakdowns, and fractured vocal textures that echo through late-night space.
