Africa Distinct 008 – Zee Essential

Hey guys, apologies for the long wait but we are back with a bang!

I hope everyone enjoyed Kususa’s amazing feature on the show. They definitely lit it up! I’d like to congratulate them officially on their booking at Black Coffee’s Saturday residency at Hï Ibiza.

I’m back in the mix for 008 of the Africa Distinct series and like usual I try my best to switch things up with my sound yet sticking to my signature. This mix features some of my favourite artists at the moment and is jam-packed with groovy baselines and lots of rhythmic drums to keep you locked in that state of dance.

I’d like to kickstart something new with each show that I do. I’ll be bringing a spotlight onto artists, more specifically their work that you should be on the lookout for. For the 8th edition of the show, I’ll be showcasing a song by South African electronic music duo – The Cavemen. I have a few projects lined up with this power duo that I am extremely excited about. Their song ‘Witch Doctor’ kickstarts 008!
